On
December 9th 2008 the fourth grade youth lacrosse team
from Dix Hills, NY was awarded a Town of Huntington
certificate of recognition by the Huntington Town Board
for winning its 8th tournament in 2 years at the Dowling
Lacrosse Clash under the guidance and leadership of
coaches Peter Doran and Jimmy Mule'. The Dix Hills
lacrosse club fourth grade team outscored their
opponents by a 62-14 margin throughout the course of the
tournament and defeated Locust Valley 12-6 in the final game.
